Beautiful design
This sounds pretty clumsy, but of course your app has to look good on the outside. A beautiful app design is more likely to be noticed and will be remembered for a long time. A nice background image or self-created module icons are a good start, for example.
Customize your corporate design
To make sure your customers recognize you as an app, use your corporate colors and your logo for the app design. You can use the logo e.g. as header in the app or even as an app icon.
Color scheme of the app
In the point before, we recommend you to use your corporate colors. Sometimes it is not possible or for a certain reason you want to use different colors in the app (e.g. for a certain event). The contents of your app should always be clearly visible and readable. This means that you should use contrasting colors that differ from each other. Complementary colors are also often suitable. It doesn’t hurt to take a look at the color theory and get some ideas there.
Contents of your app
Don’t overload your app with too much content. You don’t want to present the entire content of your website as an app. That only frightens off. Prepare the app content so that your customers reach everything quickly and clearly. Fewer modules are often a better choice than hundreds of modules. Of course, this also applies to the content of the modules. Smartphone users are not willing to read a page-long novel. The information should be stored briefly and comprehensibly in the app. True to the motto: less is more!
